Vorpommern
The region of Vorpommern is located in the furthest north-eastern corner of the Federal Republic of Germany, as part of the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Mecklenburg-West Pomerania). The old Hanseatic and university town of Greifswald is situated between the two large islands of Ruegen and Usedom along the Baltic Sea coast.
How to get here:
By train- a 10-min-walk to the museum from the station via the ‘Wall’
By Car- follow the motorway (Autobahn) A20 or federal roads (Bundesstraße) B96 and B109.
The historic town (Altstadt) is surrounded by sufficient car parking facilities indicated by signs posted throughout. An underground car park is situated by the forecourt to the museum. Follow the signs for ‘Tiefgarage am Markt’.
