In the museum, a time box illustrates Greifswald in 1818, when Friedrich travelled to Greifswald with his Caroline and immortalised the whole family in a watercolour on the market square.

The new tour ‘Romanticism in Pomerania’ takes you through the exhibition on the history of the region. It is available online via the audio guide.
