The monastery garden is open from May to October.

Looking for things to do with children? Visit the museum in winter!
From January to March, Sparkasse Vorpommern will cover the admission costs for all children visiting the Gallery of Romanticism with their families.

This offer is available from 1 January 2026. Educational programs and Family Saturdays are excluded.

If you are arriving by train to Greifswald (Main Station), from there you can reach the museum on foot or by bus. Parking is available under the museum’s courtyard “Am Markt”; parking for coaches is in front of the museum. There are bicycle stands and rental bicycles on the courtyard in front of the museum.
